life snippits

01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12

This week was really busy and went by so fast! There was dirty mirror pictures, letters sent, earring messages, pretty fall blooms, basil, necklace designs, ears, rat bones, cucumbers, leafs and dark clouds. I had my first midterm of the year and it was really scary but I think I did rally good if you ask me. Also it finally has been getting cooler and I can now drink hot tea, dress in layers and dream about Halloween customs. It was a good and crazy week

Flower crown and a long sleeve shirt

01
02

It has finally gotten fall like weather in these neck on the woods! Thank God! I thought I was going to go crazy the last week of that height.
Fall is my all time favorite, because I am obsessed with layers. Layers make everything super fun.  Today I was excited that I got to wear a flannel and two shirts and not die! I don't know if fall is the time to stop wearing vibrant flower crowns, but oh well. I have never been good with rules anyways:)

Art journal

Recently I start a art journal, I had worked on it one day but wasn't really sure what I wanted to do or how to. I is my first one, so I was looking for inspiration and things. But the other night when I had a really rough sleepless night ideas and thoughts started trickling in.

01 night 02 03 04

I decided just to give myself free rein and no limits to what it should look like.  I wanted a life journal, kind of like a diary, but with sketches, and quotes or what not.  There are pages that are blank with one solid color. I have been trying to work on it every other day or so. I love how it brings out creativity that I didn't even know I had. Heehee

D.I.Y:Fall flower crown

I know that there is about a million and one flower crowns out there but they are so fun to make. So here is my take on making a fall flower crown.
01 02

1. Cut two pieces of felt to hold your flowers on. I made it the length of my head. You can make it rap around your head. What ever floats your boat.

03

2. Remove flowers off the steams. They should look something like this.

04

3. Remove plastic part and glue, slide the piece back on.

05

4. Cut stem off, so that it sit right.

06

07

5.One of my flowers was a lot bigger and if would have cut it, it would have unraveled. So I cut my felt and glued down my flower on both sides.

08

6. Glue all your flowers on.

09

7. Glue wire on to the felt. I used the wire so that it is supported

10

8.Glue a piece of ribbon on each side.

12

9. Glue your second piece of felt so that everything is hidden.

13
Now go and sport your fall flower crown.  I have been wearing my and dreaming and praying for a bit of cooler wearth so that it will be fall for sure heehee. This 100 degree weather is just not cutting it so I have to trick my mind with lots of flower crowns and fall colors.
