Summer To Do List: Play with the kids

This week I started freaking out a bit when I looked at the calender and found that it was mid/ end of June.  The summer has stole time once again, but I have been snapping a lot of pictures while concurring my summer to do list.A few day ago we decided to go night swimming at an empty house.  Okay okay I'm making it seem more rebellious then what it is hahha. It is my cousins house and he wasn't home, but he knew we were there. Anyways it was super fun and quite cold.  I am in love with the first picture, I have no idea what it is but it looks cool.

Shop Talk

I am so stocked and nervous that it is almost July. Yes, you guessed it I am opening a Shop! For about two years I have been obsessively dreaming of the day I would grow the .... braveness, but it never did.  There was always thought of not being able to live up to people on etsy or even bloggers.  So this summer I decided to put those thoughts a side, pick my confidence off the floor and give it a try.  It has been such an amazing experience to see my creativity grow from when I started thinking of ideas till now. Its been neat to go through my sketches from the past two years, most of which I laugh at.

The last week or so have been inspiring, filled with late night tea making. It's been so cool to see my confidence come back to health and really taking ideas and running with them.

Since my creativity has been bubbling my crafting area, started to blend in to the rest of my room has been in total ruins.  Here are some snippets of my craziness.




  Today's lesson is to not let your confidence hit the floor or even go near it. We all have different strong suites and God never intended you to look EXACTLY like someone. Okay Dr. Meagan is out.(heeeheee) Have a wonderful day!

D.I.Y: Hanging Feathers (room decor)

Every summer I try to give my room a make over so that I'm not looking at the same thing and its a fun way to bring new things in.  I've had these feathers thrown around my room for about two years, so I thought why not put them to good use instead of hoarding them. I think yes!


Supplies: feathers, paint, paint brush, thread, and something to hold paint in 

1. Paint the end of the feather. So the paint wouldn't be so caked on, I watered it down so it looks natural


2. Let dry for a bit

3. Tie your sring tight and hang

Well go crazy feathering your room, with this short and sweet d.i.y.  I going to go drink some leamonade and go to he farmer market. Have a lovely Thursday!

Thrift finds

So it is now Wednesday! Goodness it feels like weeks are going by so stinkin fast I can barley keep up with them.  I am trying to hang on for dear life so that the summer doesn't get away from me like the last couple of years.  I have been trying to go through my summer to do list these couple of week and I am happy to say it has been a success. One of the goals was to Thrift like crazy. I have always loved thrifting but I don't really do it enough, so I wanted to challenge my self to thrift and hunt for treasures any time I can get.
A few days ago a went to hunt and I found these beauty's!  I got a roomy rectangular bag that was to good to pass up, because I can fit all my shenanigans in it.  I don't really have many purses so I want to expand that part of my wardrobe. The second things I got was this nautical button up, its so amazing.  When I found it I even gave a little dance (yeah I'm that cool.) I was already leaving empty handed until I spotted anchors on something at the corner of my eye.  I fell in love with it because it has  collar and its button up, since that's what I've been in to now'n day. This children's short stories book is quite beautiful.  It has all kinds of amazing paintings and the stories and cute. I couldn't pass it up.  This is what I will be hording in my closet.  I have been in the collecting mood and was wondering what do you collect or go to the thrift store for?

Summer to do list

As a kid I never took advantage of things. So when I started blogging taking pictures that said things, catching things at the right time and really taking advantage of this was all new to me.  Coming into the summer months before I go to college I want to soack up every single bit of it, then just watch movies and sitting around for things to come up.  I came up with goals that I want to accomplish and a bit of a long to do list (but there fun so were good heehee.)



Goals:
1. My first is to really expect God to do big thing this summer. For him to build and brake things down.
2. This summer I really want to lose 30 pound or more of course.
3.I am so stinkin excited about this one! OPEN SHOP! I have been wanting to open my shop for about two years, yeah it a long freaking time heehee.  Over the summer I am planning to grow some kahonies and just do it.
4. This one is really important because every year I would let it fly by. I want to know that I did things before September comes.
5. I always want a camera in my hand and snaping pictures. I always have that intention to take pictures but leave it in my pocket or purse.
6. I have 1 brother and 4 little sisters that I not going to really hang out with them during the school year so I want to hang out and have fun with them.  My mom and I decided to make a summer play camp where we just have games and fun things for them to do. I'm really excited.
7.I  REALLY need to do this.
8. I love thrifting but I never had a schedule so I want to go weekly to find awesome things.
9. I pretty big on trying new thing and finding new things but I don't do it enough.  I want to do it weekly, it could be food, recipe, looking at new blog and all that good stuff.
10. RIDE BIKE AND WALK PLACES (seld explanitory)
11. I love the way I dress(sorry if i sound consetted I'm really not) but I get embaressed if someone says something about my outfit.  This summer I will STOP DOING THAT TO MESELF!

TO DO LIST: This list is pretty self explantory.  I just want to make thing count and really try to do thing. I'm so stinkin excited because I never gave my self a fun to do list or pushed myself to make my days count.

Picture project: Pink

Happy June everyone! I am finally I summer vaccation and GRADATED! I am so stinkin excited for this summer because I can get done to crafting and picture taking and best of all finally be able to blog with out freaking out because I should be doing my home work.  This is so late but here are my pictures from so long ago for my pink picture project.
You would think since I had all that time I would have token more pictures hahahaha.
