Christmas time

   I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and ate a whole lot and got to spend time with all the special people in your life. I know I did. Here are a few snippets from my Christmas excitement.

Its Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I am so excited. I love Halloween. This year I'm a bit bummed because we're not going to have are yearly haunted house, but that means I can carve pumpkins and watch scary movie. I haven't done that in a while. what is in store for this fine holiday?

D.I.Y: Potting plant necklace

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a most terrifically wonderful week.  Well time has flew by once again! I was look I my calender and realized on sunday it is Mother's day. I flipped because I hadn't got my mom anything.  So I wanted to make her something. I have been seeing terrariums and itty bitty pot necklaces, so I thought to my self "Meagan your mother would love this." But due to the short of time and how my mom loves handmade gits, I thought to make her one.


What you need for the pot: Carmex bottle (or any small bottle), acrylic paints, paint brush, wire, and wire cutters and sand paper

1.I still had a bit of carmex, just clean it out really good, also clean the outside too.

2. Before you paint the bottle, sand it down a bit so that the paint stays. I forgot to do it on this one and it began to pill in the pictures.
3. Paint all around. But not inside. 
4. wrap the wire as many times as you fill it is secure. Leave about 1 inch to make a loop. 
6. make your loop. Don't make it to small, you need your chain to fit.  
You are done with the pot part now on to the plant part!
You will need: little pebbles, soil, and small succulents 
1. Place small pebbles at the bottom.  This is for draining, since it doesn't have holes at the bottom. 
2. Add soil. Don't fill up yet. o that way you can place plant deep inside.

3. Get your plant

4. Place you place so that you roots are at the bottom so it doesn't fall out.  Add a chain and your good.
Now you have a wonderful gift for mom, or yourself. Its a good spring/summer necklace. Have fun making this:)

Beauty stocking stuffers & wishlist

Christmas is coming super duper fast and it wont slow down.  There is now 10 days left to do some last minute shopping for all us lagers!  I've been meaning to post this but again lagging was in the air from watch the Christmas season run away from me.  Here are some little stocking staffer's and some of my beauty wish list!

3.Philosophy Sweet Kisses & Merry Wishes-$36: Eeeep! I adore all of holiday smelling anything and mix it with philosophy shower stuff.....goodness its amazing!
4. Sephora Collection Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof-$10:  I love the colors on these and they will stay on because they are water proof. Whoot Whoot!
5. Hello Kitty Nil Art Stickers-$5: I love nail art and hello kitty!  So its a win win.
6. Hello Kitty Apple Balm-$9: This lip balm smells super awesome!
7.Juicy couture Spray Pen set-$35:  I can never live without juicy couture.  It a perfect gift for every girly girl.
8. Sephora collection brush wand-$10: Perfect for people who are never home and always put there makeup on everywhere else but their house.  I am guilty of this 100%
9.Tokidoki Gelato Lip Balm stain-$9: I love the color and the fact that it is a stain.

Jingle bells are ringing

It is now 11 days till Christmas and I'm super excited!  Growing up we never really had a lot of traditions so this time around I wanted to start a few for my family.  My mom has always been addicted to decorating the tree.  She always wanted to so perfect and pretty.  So of course we decorated the tree like always but this time I made snicker doodle cookies and had Christmas music play in the background well we danced around the living room. Also to top this season we have been making hot chocolate and hot tea almost every day. Heehee I love our new little traditions.  Hopefully next year we can apply more but the best part is being able to look back on our cheesy little memories ;)!  Have a great day.
