A sketch a day keeps the monkeys away

sketch book qote sketch sketch

I feel like this summer I have been trying to push so many projects on my self before I go into the real world since graduation.  If its hectic but good.  One of the projects is sketching every day.  I understand that I am NOT the best but I love getting my ideas out there.  So if you don't have any projects or want to add another one join me!

Beach collection

beach finds

I mentioned that I went to the beach this past weekend and it was such a blast. Well if I've never confessed I am now.... I am a huge hoarder!  feeeewww... Glad I got that off my chest (dory from finding Nemo.) Anyways for the past year or so I have been really collecting quite a few things, so when we went to the beach I thought these little treasure would fit in perfectly.
What do you have collections of?

Go to the beach -Done-

beach beach and kids beach beach

This past weekend my dad and his wife to be and her side of the family took us camping to the coast. I was so beautiful. Where we live it was a whooping 106 that week so go to 63 degree weather was the FREAKEN BEST! I didn't get pictuers of our camp site and little house tent, because my poop amazing camera decided to mess up.  I was so excited that I got to get at least these beach pictures.  I LOVE the one of my sissy chasing the birds. I'm super stocked that i'm starting to cross out some of my goals from my summer to do list.

3. Use a clasp to connect your 2 chains and your wire with the sequence and beads. Twist them together and add the second clasp to the bottom.
You are done and you have a cool new chain for the summer.

Obsession: self image

I think for as long as women have lived they have been told how to present them selves, and if you are not presenting your self "correctly" you are ugly and made to hate your self.  Every women has probably had some self loving and self image problems because it is no normal now.

I kinda wanted to make a BIG deal about this because this week this little things have made such a significant impact on how I view myself.  I have always hated my body and who I was because growing up I was the fat weird kid.  Growing up with self image problems have set me back in so many things.  I have missed out on doing fun things because I didn't want to look dumb, I didn't want to ever start my blog because I felt I was not pretty or cool.  This dang thing that people have put on us to be perfect has killed and scared many so I choose to finally give that up and love who I am, for who I am not what people want me to be!

Here are a few links that have made me think twice about how I view my self.

cross country trail Adventure

bridge ant rabbits green mushrooms featherThe other day my best friend and I went on a cross country trail in our town.  Since we live in the valley I am starting to find out that there is so much pretty wild life beyond the town.  It really awesome because I was going to move so that I could see things like this.  Thank God for the curiosity heehee. We have been exploring different places that we can find mushrooms and cool things.  And since one of my summer goal is to find new places and things every week it has been really exciting.

We found so many things.  We seen two (not so scared) rabbits, a giant ant, beautiful mushrooms, feathers, crazy flowers, and spiders (didn't get a good pictures cause he was moving so much). It was a good day and I hope we go back for more.

July has caught up to us. We are half way through the year. July means late night bon fires, ice cream treats, crunch time, sweet fruits, fire works, long work days, and taking advantage of still being a teenager. July is full of unknown and excitement.  Its the month were I get to put my work out for everyone to see.  It is learning to do things all by my lone some.  Days of loving myself and thanking God for who he is. July please be good to me!
